Most pet owners I know would do anything for their pets and yet sometimes we forget to think about the safety and comfort of them in our home. With wood or tile floors, pets tend to slip and slide, especially older, larger pets. Placing an area rug or runner can provide the traction needed for your pet to walk around your home comfortably.
Quite a few of our customers mention how they are looking for an area rug or runner for their home, simply because their dog needs it. Most recently a customer came in because his dog was having hip surgery and the doctors told him it would be difficult for the dog to stand up and lay down especially on his tile floors. We were happy to help him get all the custom sized rugs he needed for his dog and help spruce up his décor.
The same applies to outdoor spaces. Some decks and patios can be quite slippery, particularly when they are wet. The indoor/outdoor carpet can make your space safer and add some color at the same time.
Who would have thought that carpeting could play such an important role in pet safety?
SHOPPING TIP: If you have a dog or cat that sheds, pick out a rug color that is similar to your their hair color. This will save you from having to vacuum your rug every hour.
CUSTOMER REVIEW: “I needed a carpet runner to go from the bedroom door, out onto the deck, down to where the yard begins to give my senior dog the traction she needed as she was going outside to “do her thing.” It worked perfectly. The sides were finished so the carpet would not fray.”
